Forgotten Children of Bucharest

Disabled people in Romania are among the categories left on the margins of society, along with older people, orphans and Roma. The challenge of the Don Orione Center in Bucharest is to be able to develop the potential of children and adults to hope for integration, autonomy and personal recovery. This was explained by don Roberto Polimeni, head of the center hosting 42 disabled people, including 20 children, almost all orphans.
